My Workshop

Today I didn't get a chance to use the ship's curves I got from Binnacle. Instead, I cleaned my workshop. Here are some pictures...

Above are some rigging tools: a rope maker in the background and a seizing and serving tool in the foreground

Here, from left to right, are my metal lathe, wood lathe and scroll saw.

Here is my book collection, note the recent edition of Ashley's Book of Knots, the large book with a schooner set against a sky on the spine.

In 2008 Dana Fragomeni graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts, having successfully completed a double major in History and English as well as a minor in Religion. In 2012, Dana completed a Master of Museum Studies program at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information. As an active historian and researcher, Dana also works part-time at the Royal Ontario Museum as an Exhibition Researcher and Curatorial Assistant in the Department of Anthropology. In 2012, Dana developed label and website content for the ROM's Maya Exhibition. Dana is also a Historical Interpreter at Todmorden Mills Heritage Site.

In 1999, Evan graduated from Queen's University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Art History. Since 2000, Evan worked in the Media for the Town Crier chain of community newspapers, as well as for several private art galleries. From 2005-2006, Evan completed a certificate in Museum Management and Curatorship at Fleming College and soon after found work with the City of Toronto as a Historical Interpreter. In 2011, Evan graduated with a Master of Education degree from OISE/UT.
